Oslo Pop-up

The Art of Engineering. Engineering for Art.

5th floor at Steen & Strøm, in TECH HALL by Scandinavian Photo.

May 18–30, 2026.

Sigma Corporation is hosting a Pop-Up Space from May 18 to May 30 at TECH HALL by Scandinavian Photo, on the fifth floor of Steen & Strøm in Oslo. The space introduces the radically simple Sigma BF camera and the full current Art, Contemporary, Sports and Cine lens lineup.

Experience our full lineup.

Sigma's latest Art, Contemporary, Sports and Cine releases on display.

Test and try the BF in the city.

The award-winning Sigma BF – machined from a single block of aluminum in Aizu – leaves the floor with you. Shoot Oslo's streets. Come back and talk about the result.

Talk to the people behind the glass.

Sigma's team is on site across the two weeks. Optical design, field use, what to pair with what – ask the questions a spec sheet won't answer.

She has recently been using the BF camera and will talk about her time with it.

Event is also followed by an organized photowalk.

MADE IN AIZU, JAPAN

Apart from a handful of processes, we develop, design, craft, assemble, and quality control all our lenses and cameras in-house there. This includes grinding lenses, molding plastic parts, painting, mounting substrates, assembly, manufacturing screws and other components, and machining molds.

Our approach gives us the freedom to develop camera optics without the compromises of others, allowing us to hone our craft and quickly turn new ideas into solutions. The result is authentic "Made in Aizu, Japan" quality.
